new year brings us once a year together i dunno why. but it seems like yesterday. Maybe the times have been memorable. and maybe they are the people i misses. times spent doesnt have to go to really fun places like escape or resort world hotel. just by being with the ones you love and treasure can mean the whole world to me (: it is the people that counts. even if they doesnt say much.
I thank God for the chances i get to try out many things also.
chioing last min shopping with my mum and eating kfc with her before going for reunion (i'm surprised bugis opened till quite late, and felt really blissed as I dun have time to properly shop for new year clothes and to find something i like)
Though it was not as crowded when i reached, i sat down and listen to what my cousins said and talked with them. and trying to lump my father and his mother to take photo together. both of them being shy, shyly obeyed. But i am so glad I did. It has not been my family tradition to take photos and to have taken just alone with my ah ma. taking photos doesnt have to wait till birthdays, you know.. haha. and the best thing is seeing everyone together and my ah ma beaming with smiles after that.
threatening to post this online which i do, and was "threatened" by them. they remembered i tried to do this last year too.
even complaining can be sharing your life too

chuyi was quite rush for me, going to 4 places at the same time. though my generation cousins have left but i stayed till late talking to my aunt. and got to know her more. Also before that a small hiccup happened to my little cousin, and drove everyone's nerve up. though we din spend alot of time, i got to lend a hand and see how his parents reacted to solve the problems. Ling hui jie hasnt seen so tired for long.
Chu Er - my mum's closest sister comes to visit. This year, we tried something differently. playing ban luck with my cousins. and best of it all, we got the elders to join us namely my mum, my dad (especially him as he 金盆洗手 from being too pro) and he tested my brother quite a bit. so it is not too good to play with the elders. but after this simple time of winning and losing, it opened up my mum and my dad a bit. my mum got to ask her sister and talked directly to her during the game.
after this, our family went to river angbao. Nothing much this year but the main highlight is the theme park!! which attracted when my bus passed by the other time. I chio my aunt and my mum and aunt and cant believe at their age, they are still so sporty to take up the challenge. In the end, I am the only one who walked out of the seat, wobbly and giddy. it really swings so high and my lung capacity simply is not enough for me to scream for so long.

OMG
Then we walked around and sat down to listen to some chinese artist to perform at the waterfront. it was cool because i have never imagined my family would do something like this. as usual, my dad would stand near the waters to admire the night scene and the construction of IR. haah.
there is no other time like family time and time spent with your loved one. hope you guys yours too and have a great happy new year ahead!
